The Laval convent (France), a ‘20th century partrimony’
Curia OCD
ROMA (01-07-2008).- The convent was founded from Le Mans Carmel in 1856 the same year as the diocese was established. It was originally located in the heart of the city but it became necessary, in 1965, to relocate the building outside the city but not too far away. The present building is the work of the architect Marconnet, a disciple of Le Corbusier.
