Theresian studies in Lisieux

After last years experience this second course of studies on Therese of Lisieux will be centered on the year 1896 and the study of Manuscript B. The lectures will focus on the historical context and the literary, biographical, theological and spiritual dimensions of Thereses work. The course will take place from Monday to Friday: three hours in the morning (9-12) and two hours in the afternoon (3-5 or 5-7). Saturday August 22 and Sunday 23: free time, personal work; visits to the sites of Therese.

Johannes Schiettecatte, OCD
Other people will also be involved with the courses and the organization of the visits.
The course will address as a priority those who wish to deepen their knowledge of the young Doctor of the Church. The goal of the course is to help formators, formation masters and mistresses, in their mission of education and spritual direction. The participants will commit themselves to two weeks of lectures and directed work. They are asked to present some work of personal research.
The cost of the overall course is 200 euros. Cost for full board accomodation is set at 400 euros, to be paid together. In case of financial difficulty do not hesitate to speak to us.
